Moon Willow Press

Filed under: Stuff — jackmagazine @ 9:13 am

Moon Willow Press is a new startup and independent press initiative started by none other than your not-so-famous and not-so-primetime editor, Me. With years of editing and writing under my belt, I figured it was time to do this. The press will initially offer only editorial services in order for me to generate some revenue to start the publishing services.

The long-term mission is to publish fiction and non-fiction books and journals related to climate change, sustainable living, ecosystem preservation, and other environmental concerns. Moon Willow will use only recycled and ancient-forest-friendly materials as well as offer e-book alternatives.

Next issue change

Filed under: Uncategorized — jackmagazine @ 7:59 pm

I’m still working in an old HTML program (Adobe PageMill, if anyone remembers that!), and have decided to change Jack’s infrastructure to a more dynamic blogging software next summer. I hope this will be an acceptable change for all the readers. It’s so much easier to deal with blogs than clunky old editors. I will try to keep the appearance somewhat consistent with the current and older issues.

In the future (starting summer of 2010), this blog/links part of Jack will be merged back with the magazine.
